CAST: Natalie Wood as Susan Walker, Maureen O'Hara as Doris Walker, John Payne as Fred Gailey, Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle

PLOT: Susan is a cynical little girl who has been taught by her mother, Doris, not believe in fairy tales like Santa Claus. Doris hires a man named Kris Kringle to play Santa in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Kris thinks he really is Santa Claus and tries to convince Susan to believe in him. When Kris gets into an altercation with a psychologist he is committed to a psychiatric hospital. Doris's boyfriend, Fred, agrees to represent him at the trial. Can Fred prove that Kris is the real Santa Claus?
